Great Utility round for 30-30
Bought these to reload in my 30-30 trapper carbine for a reduced load utility-plinker round. Tried a variety of powders in the 1200-1800 fps range; still looking for "the one" but load development looks promising and some shot quite well first go-round. I love shooting this little gun, great ATV-Jeep handy rifle. It also shoots real well with 150 grain Jacketed flat point for deer loads, but that is only one or two weeks out of the year. With this inexpensive bullet, I will be able to get in a lot more shooting just for fun. Just ordered a bunch more Chey cast bullets- keep up the good work!

Yes, they are great tack drivers out to 100 yards don't run them over 16 FPS.

Thank you for your question. Sorry for the delay, the notifications for questions are minimal for our shopping cart and was mistakenly overlooked. No we do not do gas checks. At this time we do not care a 270 cal or a 22/224 cal in the HT. We may at some point if there is enough interest in this caliber.
